Flannel Foxes – Edmonton Born Clothing Brand

I have known Brit and Mike for quite a few years now. In fact, Mike was one of the first friends I made here in Edmonton, which makes sense because these are precisely the kind of people you will meet here that make you say, “man, this is a great city!” And really, how can I blog about local living, sustainably sourced and ethically made goodness, with out shouting out to these gems in our community?

Flannel foxes started a few years ago. As a girl who grew up on a farm, wanting to wear nothing other than my big brothers t-shirts and a pair of jeans, I was hooked on their tom-boy style. Normally, I would send people to their website: flannelfoxes.com but this year they have a pop-up shop in down town Edmonton so your Christmas shopping is about to get a whole lot easier!

I seriously love everything these guys make but, whats more important to me than a rad graphic, is that the clothing I buy is ethically-made. This is an area Flannel Foxes shines. Just check out their blog where they talk about where we get our clothes.

“Flannel Foxes is committed to ethically-made, socially conscious goods. Our products are, whenever possible, made in Canada. That means that we make durable, quality clothes with partners that treat their people right and pay them fairly.”

You can find their seasonal store in the MacLaren building on 124 St and 102 Ave or their website lists other places across Alberta that are carrying their stock. Keep scrolling to see some more of their awesomely  Canadian store and sweet merch.
